Chia Pudding

Chia seeds are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, which help raise HDL cholesterol (the "good" cholesterol that helps protect against heart attack). They are rich in antioxidants, fiber, iron, and calcium.

Great for:

  • Skin

  • Digestive Health

  • Heart Health

  • Energy and Metabolism

  • Strong Bones

Ingredients

Ingredients:

2 cups non-dairy milk

1 teaspoon organic maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla (do not use imitation)

1/2 cup Chia seeds

Directions

Instructions:

  • Whisk milk, maple syrup and vanilla together.

  • While whisking, slowly stir in 1/2 c. chia seeds — continue to whisk the whole time.

  • Once added, let sit for a few minutes and whisk again before putting into the fridge.

  • Takes a few hours to thicken or overnight is best.

  • Serve with: organic, natural local honey and berries.

Variations:

Try different milk options, for example, if you use Oat Milk, you can leave out the maple syrup and vanilla!

Try adding in a mashed banana or some peanut butter!
